Scotland’s Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise, Mr Ivan McKee, MSP, paid a fact-finding visit to D-CAT on Monday 27th June 2022. The visit was arranged as a follow up to the Scottish Trade Mission to the Dubai Expo in March 2022, led by the Minister, which D-CAT was privileged to be a part of.


Mr McKee met with a small number of the D-CAT team and received a brief from CEO, Phil Mclachlan and COO Barry Rooney, on the unique data services D-CAT are creating from satellite remote sensing and other data.  A key theme of the visit was how these innovative data products are helping D-CAT's clients meet their climate change obligations on their transition to net zero.
