Climate Weather BOM
This service provides the mean daily height of water from sensors controlled by the Australian Government's Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).
The BOM collects data from a variety of water height sensors across Australia. These are typically positioned at crossings over rivers or other key locations. This service will ingest the data from the required locations identified as points in the supplied GeoJSON. Each point must have the station, product and bulletin identifiers for the required locations. Generally only the last 7 days of data is available for each location from the BOM, however if required, this service will accumulate the data over a longer period of time if run as a scheduled service executing at least on a daily basis. The output is a CSV file containing the mean water height per day for each location. The input GeoJSON file is also output with each location annotated with the water height data.
