Road Condition

Categorises all roads within the road network depending upon their water and moisture condition.

Use this service to assess all of the roads in the road network to determine if they should be open, restricted or closed. Given a road network, the algorithm will use water and moisture metrics to categorise each road. The output is provided as the road network GeoJSON annotated with category 1 (open), 2 (open for light four-by-four vehicles only), 3 (open for authorised vehicles only) and 4 (closed). Note that these categories may vary if fewer or more calibration values are provided.
