Climate Weather NASA POWER
This service provides data products from NASA’s Prediction of Worldwide Energy Resources (POWER) project for your specified area of interest.
NASA Power data provides global solar and meteorological data at 0.5 (latitude) x 0.625 (longitude) degree resolution. You must provide an area of interest and then a start date and optional end date. Note that NASA Power data is available from 1984-01-01 onwards. For every day from the start to the end (inclusive), variations in solar radiation (kW-hr/m^2/day), temperature (minimum, average, maximum in degrees C), wind speed (minimum, average, maximum in m/s), precipitation (mm), surface pressure (kPa), evapotranspiration (mm/day) and cloud percentage (%) are then output. Data is output as a copy of the input GeoJSON file with each feature having properties for the data. Data is also output as a CSV file containing the data for all required dates per row. Further information about NASA Power and its data products can be accessed via here.
