UK Nine Crop Classification

Classifies crops in a given UK area of interest, including corn, potato, rapeseed, spring barley, spring oats, spring wheat, winter barley, winter wheat as well as grassland, other and soil.

This service detects crops using Sentinel-2 images and spectral indices for the area of interest from the start date to the optional end date. The output is provided as a GeoTIFF classifying corn (0), grassland (1), potato (2), rapeseed (3), spring barley (4), spring oats (5), spring wheat (6), winter barley (7), winter wheat (8), other (9), soil (10). A GeoTIFF is also provided which has a band for each crop specifying the probability of detection. An annotated vector file is provided that includes for each paddock: the paddock area, majority crop, and its area. A CSV with the details is and a preview image are also provided.
