Tree Incursion

Identifies the risk of water or sewerage pipe incursion from roots because of the abnormal growth of trees in a given area.

Use this service when you have a section of water or sewerage pipe which you think may be damaged through incursion by tree roots. Given a pipe network, the area expanded around it and the detected trees within that area, the algorithm allocates risk scores to areas surrounding the pipe to highlight the most likely areas which have damage. The output is provided as a GeoTIFF showing the likelihood of tree incursion. A GeoJSON which includes the tree incursion risk score per pipe and a CSV file containing the same information as well as a preview image are also provided.
