Land Surface Temperature from MODIS

This service provides a land surface temperature (LST) map from MODIS for your specified area of interest at 500m resolution.

MODIS LST data products provide global land surface temperature. You must provide an area of interest and then a start date and optional end date. Note that MODIS LST data is available from 2002-02-24 onwards. For every day from the start to the end (inclusive), variation in land surface temperature is then output as separate images for day and night time temperature. The imagery is output as a series of GeoTIFF files, each with a single band representing the temperature. All GeoTIFF files will have the same geographic projection and resolution (up-sampled to 10m). Further information about MODIS LST can be accessed via here.
