Tree Detection

Identifies trees in a given area.

Use this service to detect trees of approximately 10m width or more. Given an area of interest, the algorithm attempts to find deciduous and evergreen trees. The output is provided as a GeoTIFF classifying trees (1) and not trees (0). A second output is provided as a GeoTIFF providing the probabilities of a tree having been detected. A preview image is also provided along with an outline of the detected trees as a series of polygons (where the minimum size of the polygons can be optionally modified using the options). A preview image is also provided.
