Climate Weather NASA POWER

NASA POWER Solar and Meteorological Data

This service provides data products from NASA’s Prediction of Worldwide Energy Resources (POWER) project for your specified region of interest.

NASA Power data provides global solar and meteorological data. You must provide a region of interest and then a start date and optional end date. Note that NASA Power data is available from 1984-01-01 onwards. For every day from the start to the end (inclusive), variations in solar radiation (kW-hr/m^2/day), temperature (minimum, average, maximum in degrees C), wind speed (minimum, average, maximum in m/s), precipitation (mm), surface pressure (kPa) and evaporation (kg m-2 s-1 10^6) are then output. Data is output as a copy of the input GeoJSON file with each feature having properties for the data. Further information about NASA Power and its data products can be accessed via here.
